Any suggestions as to how to get the next part off would be appreciated. Here's a picture with the plastic cap off. The problems seems to be the connection between the thumb lever and the actual mechanism, as the thumb lever moves freely and independently of the rest of the winding mechanism. I have tried to unscrew the piece underneath the plastic cover on the winding mechanism (and holding the take up spool but the force required seems to be too great – perhaps it has been over tightened at some point). (just looked at your reply to the 'remonte top plate' thread). (If I can find it and model the broken part). It is possible to 3D to brass and that would no doubt be an improvement on old part. I can get the winder cover off fairly easily but the piece below I have not managed to remove (yet). That is what I have been thinking as I would guess it is a fairly simple part – however I haven't yet taken the mechanism apart. I would like to see if it is possible to 3d print it, in case my camera fails too. Hello jacob, do you have an image of the part? The problem is apparently the steel cam that connects the external winder to the internal wind shaft. Jacob&Muriel: So what's the broken part(s)? Did they tell you? So this is obviously not a unique failure in my camera.
I had initially taken it in to Aperture in Soho where they had another Bronica RF645 on their shelf with the exact same problem that was unrepairable for the same reason. Man, this is really bad news for Bronica RF645 users :(
If anyone would like a part or parts from it let me know. We regret to inform you due to parts issue for this model we would not be able to carry out repair on your camera. They have just emailed me to say that they don't have the parts to repair it.īy the way Intro2020 have passed on their servicing of Bronica cameras to EuroHiTech.
